Relaxation Massage
Relaxation massages offer great health benefits while simply enjoying the service. It helps reduce stress and balance hormones to improve mood, reduce insomnia and balance energy levels. It promotes the production of Dopamine (the feel-good hormone) also plays large roles in movement, sleep, learning, mood, memory, and attention. It also reduces cortisol levels (stress hormone) which high levels can cause anxiety, depression, headaches, insomnia, and weight gain. It also boosts your immune system by 15-20% in terms of lymphocyte count in the body within one hour.

Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic Massage is more specific work generally focusing on certain problem areas. These sessions vary depending on the specific ailment, most commonly is structural work balancing out synergistic muscles and antagonistic muscles. Another large part of pain relief is relaxing the central nervous system (CNS). The CNS is your body’s way of protecting itself from injury or damage. If your body (not you) believe your body is at risk of damage it sends pain signals to your brain and increases muscle tension and lowers range of motion. What therapeutic work can do is to get your body to tell your brain that the body is no longer in danger, which then will alleviate the pain.

Scraping Therapy
Scraping therapy massage, also known as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), is a highly effective technique designed to reduce muscle tension, break up scar tissue, and enhance mobility. At Coyote Massage & Bodywork, we use specialized tools to target deep muscle adhesions and promote faster recovery, helping you move and feel better.

Cupping
Metabolic tissue change and pressure pain thresholds have been found with dry cupping. Increases in blood flow (hyperemia) occur. This increased blood flow or vasodilatation appear to also increase tissue temperature and appears to increase capillary endothelial cell repair, accelerated tissue granulation, and angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels) in the local treated tissue.
It promotes a rise in the lactate/pyruvate ratios which indicated an increase in the anaerobic metabolism of the localized tissue, What this means is the potential for a rise of key ischemic (low oxygen) chemical mediators that are involved with promoting cellular/metabolic adaptation, and tissue recovery.

Percussive Therapy
The Theragun increases blood flow to help the muscle recover without the pain it typically takes with deep muscle treatment, using a combination of frequency and amplitude that reduces the brain from sensing pain from the muscle, allowing deeper and longer muscle treatment. The increased muscular blood flow caused by the Theragun produces many benefits for athletes, promoting improved performance.
